Update 2.2 Upgraded levels, VFX and more mechanics!
Hello everyone!
It's been a while since we posted, but we made a lot of improvements since the last update, most notably a lot of changes behind the hood that will allow us to add new mechanics and tweak existing ones more easily. This post would reach the word limit if I tried to write all of the changes, so here's the condensed version of our biggest changes:
- New mechanic: Root Block
- Arik now has his iconic braid! It reacts to your moves and flows accordingly
- Revamped dialogue UI
- New dialogue between Arik and Gav and Arik and Siv
- New dialogue portraits
- Souls and amulet shards now have bigger hitboxes and are placed between tiles
- New amulet shard sprite
- Added timer at the end of the demo
- New main menu music
- Changed Moss slide behavior
- Menu navigation is now completely keyboard-based
- Updated Swamp background for better contrast
- Fixed rebinding of commands
